Deem Holiday Party

Deem Teamers were treated to a night of raucous fun and dancing at the Fairmont Hotel for this year’s annual holiday party. Folks came dressed to impress in an assortment of outfits that ranged from glamorous ballroom dresses to ugly holiday sweaters. Highlights included a brain teaser competition, delicious food and beverages, a poker table, an assortment of exotic moves showcased on the dance floor, and raffle prizes including tickets to Great America, an Amazon Echo, and Southwest airfare.

A special thanks go out to our HR team and Culture Club for putting together a fantastic holiday party in such a gorgeous location.

Adopt a Family Program

Deem took part in a new holiday giving initiative this year in partnership with La Casa de Las Madres, a non-profit organization that specializes in supporting victims of domestic violence. Over a dozen employees contributed gifts to two much-deserved families to help bring them some joy this holiday season.

Gingerbread House Building Contest

Deem employees got to show off their creativity, team work, and ingenuity in our first ever Gingerbread House Building Content. The hot toddy bar was flowing to full effect as thinking caps went on and magnificent creations blossomed before our very eyes. Awards were handed out to teams with the “Most Creative,” “Most Structurally Sound,” and “Best Looking” houses, but let’s be honest, when houses are being built out of cookies and candy everyone is a winner.

See you in 2016!

James Deem and his profound cultural insights are signing off for the rest of 2015, so enjoy your holiday break and get ready to crush it next year!
